Frequently Asked Questions
What is included in the MEWP certification?
Our MEWP training covers classroom instruction and hands-on operation. You’ll learn about lift types, safe operating procedures, inspections, and fall protection. Every course ends with a practical evaluation to confirm operator competence.
Who needs MEWP certification?
Any worker who operates a boom lift, scissor lift, or other aerial platform must complete MEWP operator certification under OSHA and ANSI A92 standards. Supervisors who oversee lift operators also benefit from MEWP familiarization training.
How long does MEWP certification last?
MEWP operator certification is valid for three years. After that, refresher training is required to stay compliant and maintain safe operation standards.
What are the benefits of on-site training?
We provide operator certification for all major Mobile Elevating Work Platforms, including scissor lifts (Type 3, Group A) and boom lifts (Type 3, Group B). Training can be customized for your specific equipment.
Can MEWP training be done at my jobsite?
Yes. We offer on-site MEWP certification anywhere in the region. Our instructors bring all required materials, saving your crew travel time and keeping training aligned with your real work environment.
